If you are travelling abroad you may need to be vaccinated. Appointments for travel advice and health are no longer offered on the NHS. However, within our premises, there is a privately run travel clinic which patients can arrange an appointment with. Whilst at the travel clinic, you will discuss health whilst travelling and the vaccinations you will need, which will depend on where you are travelling.

After you have seen a travel nurse, they will advise which vaccines are available on the NHS and which you may have to pay for. If you wish to have any vaccines on the NHS, you can then arrange an appointment for this with a practice nurse at the surgery.
Additionally patients who are not in eligible groups for current vaccinations (e.g. Flu), need Travel Vaccinations or who are not registered at The Quarter Jack Surgery can obtain vaccinations privately at The Wimborne Travel Clinic within The Quarter Jack Surgery.
