If you are using our prescribing email to request your medication, please make sure you include your name, date of birth, address, the name of the medication and the quantity you require. If we do not have all this information on your request, we may not be able to process it.
If you need to check if a prescription has been done, you can do so on the NHS App (please go to Request or View Prescriptions for guidance on how to do this) or by or phoning your pharmacy.
If your are using online services to request your medication such as the NHS App and you cannot see the medication your require listed, this is often due to either the medication needing a review by the GP or you may be requesting this too early.
lf you a due a review, please contact the surgery to book in for this. Please be aware that if you are overdue a medication review, the medication we issue you will be reduced until you have had your review.
The NHS App and other online platforms will only allow you to request your medication 10 working days before it is next due. This is for patient safety and to reduce the over ordering of medicines and wastage.
