Flu vaccination 2021

We are sending text links to book your flu jab at The Allendale Centre. If you wish to book, please remember to change the time period to cover our clinics – September 29th or October 13th. You will only be able to book in a slot for your age group as different vaccines are used. The link will be valid for 7 days and you do not need to be signed up for online services to use it. Don’t worry if you can’t book or haven’t received your link yet – we have over 4000 flu jabs to book and will contact you another way.

At the time of writing (3/8/21), we do not know if covid boosters will be offered alongside flu jabs or at another venue.

If we have further instructions/information closer to your appointment, we will contact you by text or letter.

Subject to supply:

All patients aged 65 (by 31st March 2021) will be offered Fluad trivalent vaccine (aTIV).

Eligible patients aged 18 – 64 will be offered Flucelvax quadrivalent vaccine (QIVc)

Both vaccines are supplied by Seqirus         https://flu.seqirus.com

Eligible children (2 – 17) will be offered Fluenz nasal spray. Children offered vaccination because they are school age must have the vaccination at school. If your child is school age AND in an ‘at risk’ category, you can choose to have it given at school or the surgery. Fluenz is supplied centrally by the NHS – appointments will be released when delivery is confirmed.

All eligible patients (age 9+) with an egg allergy will be offered Flucelvax quadrivalent vaccine (QIVc)
