FLU CLINICS

If you are in a risk group and would like a flu vaccination please contact the surgery.  It is advisable to book your vaccination in September every year as we always start clinics in October.   Vaccination for patients not in a risk group is available for a small charge from many local pharmacies.

RETIREMENT NOTICE

Dr Paul Loxton has now retired from The Quarter Jack Surgery.

His patients have automatically been transferred to Dr Neil Rennie.

We wish Dr Loxton every happiness in his retirement.

Personal message from Dr Loxton:

“I have worked in Wimborne for almost thirty-four years, and the time has come to call it a day and hang up my stethoscope! I shall retire from The Quarter Jack Surgery with some sadness but at the same time excitement at the prospect of moving on.

The people of Wimborne have been a pleasure to be involved with.  My career has been wonderful and very enjoyable.  I have no regrets except that I shall miss talking with so many friends.

My list of patients will mostly move to Dr Neil Rennie, an excellent Doctor and a super chap.  You will be in safe hands.

The Friends of the Quarter Jack Surgery have opened a ‘Retirement Fund’ - if anyone would like to make a small contribution (but not expected!) please make your cheque out to ‘The Friends of the Quarter Jack Surgery’.

I wish you all a happy and healthy future.  Thank you for supporting me.

With Best Wishes

Dr Paul Loxton”
