Appointments

You should contact your registered Doctor's Personal Assistant to make an appointment with a Doctor or Nurse, or for any other matters regarding your medical condition. The numbers are as follows:-

Due to the increasing numbers of patients who DNA (did not attend) we would ask that you inform us, as soon as you become aware, if you are unable to attend for an appointment.   Even cancellations at very short notice can usually be filled.

Extended Hours Appointments

There are a limited number of Extended Hours appointments available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for patients unable to attend at normal surgery times.

These appointments start at 6.30pm and patients are seen by a GP on duty at that time.

Appointments for nursing procedures will not be available at this time and the surgery will otherwise be closed - only patients with pre-booked appointments will be seen.

If you become ill between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am please see ' Out of Hours'. 

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone your registered GP's PA before 10am if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

Telephone Advice

Sometimes problems can be solved over the telephone.   Our doctors and nurses are normally available at the end of morning surgery.   Our staff can arrange for your Doctor or a Nurse to telephone you.

Appointments Online

This is a simple and easy way to book, view or cancel appointments at any time of the day or night.

You must first register your details with the practice so that you can be provided with a unique login username and password.

You will only be able to register yourself - we will not allow anyone else to register  your details and you will not be able to register details of anyone else, including relatives.

The service is available if you are 16 years of age or over.

Your personal information is kept safe and secure when using Appointments Online.

To register

1. Please bring a form of photo ID (passport/driving licence) to reception and ask to register for Appointments Online.
2. You will then be sent a unique username and password - along with details of how to gain access to the website.  Please confirm your correct address with reception.
3. On your computer, using your internet browser and the URL provided, go to the appointments website.
4. Login using the username and password with which you have been provided.

When you Arrive

When you arrive at the surgery, please let us know that you are here.

The easiest way to do this is by using our Patient Arrival Touch Screen situated near the reception desk.  Just follow the instructions on screen.

If for any reason this will not allow you to check in, please let reception know that you have arrived.
