FLU CLINICS

If you are in a risk group and would like a flu vaccination please contact the surgery.  It is advisable to book your vaccination in September every year as we always start clinics in October.   Vaccination for patients not in a risk group is available for a small charge from many local pharmacies.

MMR

Following the upsurge in number of measles cases in Europe and particularily France, we urge all parents to check that children have received the appropriate MMR vaccinations.

Pneumonia Vaccination


Are you aged 65 or over?  Have you ever had a pneumonia vaccination?  If not, you are entitled to a free vaccination.  Please telephone your registered GP's PA to book an appointment.

Monday mornings are extremely busy for GP surgerys so if you need to phone us for something that is not urgent, please try at another time.  Hopefully this will mean that patients with urgent problems find it easier to contact us on Monday mornings.

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please use the link on this page (if more than 24 hours in advance), use Appointments Online (if you have a username and password) or telephone your registered GP's PA to cancel your appointment.
By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

appointmentYou should contact your registered Doctor's Personal Assistant to make an appointment with a Doctor or Nurse, or for any other matters regarding your medical condition. The numbers are as follows:-

Due to the increasing numbers of patients who DNA (did not attend) we would ask that you inform us, as soon as you become aware, if you are unable to attend for an appointment.   Even cancellations at very short notice can usually be filled.

Extended Hours Appointments

There are a limited number of Extended Hours appointments available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for patients unable to attend at normal surgery times.

These appointments start at 6.30pm and patients are seen by a GP on duty at that time.

Appointments for nursing procedures will not be available at this time and the surgery will otherwise be closed - only patients with pre-booked appointments will be seen.
