Friends of The Practice

This voluntary organisation gives practical help and social contact to elderly and housebound patients. Help is offered to those recently bereaved through our informal social group “Lifeline in Wimborne”. The Friends also provide transport for patients, who for various reasons have no other means of attending appointments at local hospitals, Clinics and the Surgery. New volunteers are required, particularly for the transport group, so if you own a car and would like to help, please contact Mrs Trisha Forshaw, the co-ordinator, via the reception desk.
